Reading & design are like two racing cars which competing with each other, Designer is always chasing the new idea however the idea is created by designer and the ＆ sign symbolized the runway heading to the extreme, like the wings reach out for the never ending. What are you waiting for? Go fly!
閱讀與設計就像兩部互相追逐的車，設計者追逐新知，而新知被設計者製造，而“＆“就向無限大符號的跑道，無限延伸追逐的翅膀，你還在等什麼？ 走吧！去追！

01.Could you tell us your profile ?
I studied Engineering at university, but I really enjoyed photography and poster making etc. After I finished my military service, I decided to apply for the Visual communication design course in National Yun-lin University of Science and Technology. This actually opened another chapter of my life and brings
new thinking into my life. A beautiful piece of work is the basic requirement, however a good design needs to fully applied the designing theory to make it perfect.

我以前是學機械工程的，在學期間都喜歡玩玩攝影，畫畫海報.....等。在退伍後，轉考國立雲林科技大學的的視覺傳達，學校教育對我設計的觀念有一種重新的認知，也重新思考設計的本質，似乎完成一張美麗的畫面以是基本需求，而一個合適表達設計條件的作品，可能才能算是好的設計吧！

02. What is the concept of your design ?
I view every project as a new vision concept. Some designers focus on the literature; however I personally think that expressing the idea perfectly in visual form is more important. People might not think the designer is such an important role and all we do is just swap lines and the pictures around, but they do not realize the importance of graphic design .

每一次我都是以一種新的視覺企劃慨念，去完成一件作品或是一個設計方案，或許有些人只重視訴求的文案內容規劃，而我覺得一份好的視覺企劃過程，更能完整與精確表達，詮釋原本的訴求。或許大環境認為我們只是做/放大/縮小/換位子/改顏色 的工作，但其中的學問，就是功力的所在。

03.Do you have any plan for the furture ?
I think design is exchange ideas, not just imitations, I m sure there are a lot of good designers in Taiwan and we should interact with more designers from overseas, they will realize the design standard here is also professional.

我覺得設計運動是全球性的，並不是一種跟隨與模仿，台灣其實有許多很好的設計師，相信在未來能多與其他國家的設計師交流，也多讓國際人士看看台灣的設計水平！

04.How did you start design work ?
After I graduated, I have been working in a new developed internet company—soundera.com and in charge of vision plans and practical. I am glad that I could have this chance to perform my best regarding on company image, internet marketing, home page design and also interact with other team members.

畢業後，就前往一家新興的網路公司soundera.com，做整體的視覺規劃與執行，很慶幸能找到一個能讓我盡情發揮的地方，研究公司形象，網路的行銷模式，使用者界面的設計，視覺與音樂的關係，與一群年輕有活力的夥伴一同工作的喜樂。

05.What do you care about most of your design ?
I would say is the style! I always focus on positioning the product in its perfect place with a unique style which leaves an outstanding impression to the reading. I will take this as the best part of the achievement

我想應該是風格與合適吧！對所訴求的產品找到適合的定位，而以一種獨特的風格性，讓人喜愛且對他印象深刻，我想是我最注重的也是大的成就來源！

06.Who is your favorite artist ?
I like Picasso & Vegan, and the graffiti artist Keith Haring, they have influenced my attitude about color using and character styling deeply.

我喜歡畢卡所與梵谷，還有塗鴉大師 Keith Haring ，我想他們對我的用色與造型影響很大！

07.What is the most interesting thing in this job ?
I would say is the creativity! When they pop on and you can just visualize it in your head. That is the best of the job. I did not take it as working, instead I think I m having fun.

我想就是工作中的創意吧！一個個創意浮現腦中，將他由畫面中呈現，其中的喜悅真是無法形容，與其說是做工，其實是在“玩設計“吧！

08.What is the hardest thing in this job ?
I would say the timing. The time limitation is the hardest part to control in terms of creating a piece of good work that satisfy myself and the client.

我想是時間吧！在有限的時間要抓住客戶的胃口，與賦予其風格定為與特色，應該視作設計的難事吧！

09. What is the most important thing in creating good design ?
I think would like the long lasting effect of the work. A good piece of work will always fresh up your mind no matter how long it has been created for. However this only works when you have a client that feels the same feel as you do.

好的作品不論時間多久，都是耐看的！所以我覺得用心作一件好作品，讓人看了舒服，感覺愉快是重要的，不然真是二次的視覺污染。不過也要碰到一個好的客戶才行！

10.What makes you feel happiest ?
I really appreciate the praise for the hard working, especially from a stranger on the street. It is always good when you know some one has the same point of view

我想是在街上或是陌生人對你的作品稱讚，其中的快樂與成就，讓我忘了所有辛勞！

11. How do you communicate with the people on the design side and who does ?
Team work is the key to success. After the good brain storming and exchange ideas, when every member in the team reached the same understanding, I will be the coordinator the assigning tasks for everyone. Then try to put everyone’s work together with some commends and improvement.

大家先一同討論對設計此件作品的想法與看法，達到大家一定共識，再由我出來統合，分配每個人專們的項目，在一同討論與改進！作一些想法的衝擊！

12. How do you want to take your work to the next level ?
I think to read more, exchange ideas, and observations are elements for a designer. Criticize my own work is my attitude towards a better level.

我相多看，多聽，多觀察，多研究，是一個好的設計師必要的功課，而對自己作品的嚴格，是我一向的態度。反覆看，找尋缺點與改進的地方！

13. Could you describe your duties of design work ?
I personally think vision design is not essential for a product as a good vision design does not enrich its actual function instead just the company image has improved. Consumers are smart; they would not fall for the same trap twice. Nevertheless, a good vision design work would be a plus for a good product.

對一般產品來說，視覺設計是可有可無！好的設計不不會幫助其產品的功能效果，只能增加產品與公司的形象與態度，消費者只會被欺騙一次。不過我們的工作的確是為好的產品加分，不是一種欺騙。
